The Supernatural…?

I’m starting to see clearly why the powers that be needed to first push the “Science!!” vs “Superstition!!” idea.

They needed to cover their tracks…

If we had not had a couple hundred years of “de-mythologizing” reality led by the European intellectual community – the average person walking the streets today ———- wouldn’t even scratch their head for a second when the see the statue of Shiva dancing in front of CERN…   They’d understand the symbolism and work being done instantly…

Being Anti-Science…(Really?)

Smearing someone with the label “Anti-Science!!” is the intellectual counterpart of always screaming “Racist!!!” or “Homophobe!!” the second something you say doesn’t fit the Political Correct Shaming Culture’s sense of “truth”…

It occurs so much —- the immediate flashing of Red Flags + shutting down of minds and discussion —- you start to want to be anti-Science just to return the hate…

But, what I always say is — “Why should anyone believe Science as an Institution run by humans is any more immune to that species’ weaknesses than all others we witness him running…???”

It doesn’t work.

They remain convinced – Science is Beautiful — that it is “self-correcting” (as if religious practice or other endeavors aren’t).

News

I hope one day our culture will routinely peak behind the curtain into the halls of Science like they have the “objective” media in my lifetime.

I’m old enough to remember when the news giants could get away with claiming they only report “facts” and are staunchly “unbiased”…

Say that today and the whole room will drop dead from side splitting laughter…

Science + Religion

I’m as pro-Science as I’m pro-Religion…

There are many areas of knowledge that I love to read around in as a novice.  It’s a great big complex profound universe —- and I’m glad to see mankind dig into it in so many different ways…

…but I don’t forget who is doing the teaching…

I take it on Faith that the Christian Bible is the Word of God.  — I’m 45 and read it off and on since early in elementary school —- and I’ve found no reason to jettison that Faith —- so it’s highly unlikely I’ll change my mind on it…

But I also don’t expect Perfect Understanding of it.

Nor do I hold Science up to such a high pedestal that articles like the one below would cause me to — lose my faith in Science…

That is about a scientific study that found many experiments reported in different fields of science — could not be replicated. And/or results were discovered to be “cooked” just like news people do their “objective” stories…

Here is another article that shows the Smithsonian had to admit in court that its members had destroyed artifacts in the early 1900s that might have caused shock waves in Science of the time…

The allegations stemming from the American Institution of Alternative Archeology (AIAA) that the Smithsonian Institution had destroyed thousands of giant human remains during the early 1900’s was not taken lightly by the Smithsonian who responded by suing the organization for defamation and trying to damage the reputation of the 168-year old institution.

During the court case, new elements were brought to light as several Smithsonian whistle blowers admitted to the existence of documents that allegedly proved the destruction of tens of thousands of human skeletons reaching between 6 feet and 12 feet in height, a reality mainstream archeology can not admit to for different reasons, claims AIAA spokesman, James Churward.

Anytime you have vested interests – anomalies are going to cause problems and anger rather than broaden horizons or increase understanding…

Conspiracy Theory vs Good Ole Philosophy

It is, moreover, most unwise for us to consider them our moral, ethical, and spiritual equals. They are not. The leaders of such groups as the Order of Skull & Bones, the Priory de Sion, the Order of the Garter, the Grand Orient Lodge, and the Rosicrucians are men who totally abhor and find disgusting the plebeian lifestyle and lower class worldview of those of us whom, they are convinced, are their social and spiritual inferiors.

The members of the Secret Brotherhood have been taught that the illuminized, superior New Man is not limited by the old world’s traditional values.

His is instead a pure and spiritual nature that transcends the normal confines of good and evil. (Dark Majesty by Texe Marrs)

What utter nonsense, right…

I’m not a full-fledged conspiracy theory kinda guy, but I have a surface-level idea of things that have been written before – by “respected” Great Minds…

Philosophy

Anyone who doesn’t know that the dominant thought of the Post-Modern Era and Western Intellectualism of the 20th century was — Good and Evil are just words tossed about by fanatics to mask the Reality of a Relative universe — has never gone to college…

It’s the most common theme crafted by the Truly Enlightened from Sartre in literature/philosophy to Einstein in the Sciences…

He was free, free in every way, free to behave like a fool or a machine, free to accept, free to refuse, free to equivocate; to marry, to give up the game, to drag this death weight about with him for years to come. He could do what he liked, no one had the right to advise him, there would be for him no Good or Evil unless he thought them into being.

What is it about the study of philosophy that tends to make brilliant minds stupid when it comes down to what are known as actual cases? Consider Martin Heidegger, Bertrand Russell, Jean-Paul Sartre, and Ludwig Wittgenstein, the four great names in twentieth-century philosophy: the first was a Nazi, the second died certain that America was responsible for all the world’s evil, the third was a Stalinist long after any justification for being so could be adduced, and the fourth lived on the borders of madness most of his life. Contemplation of the lives of philosophers is enough to drive one to the study of sociology.

In Ecce Homo, Nietzsche vehemently denied any idealistic, democratic or humanitarian interpretation of the Übermensch: “The word Übermensch [designates] a type of supreme achievement, as opposed to ‘modern’ men, ‘good’ men, Christians, and other nihilists…

Zarathustra ties the Übermensch to the death of God. While this God was the ultimate expression of other-worldly values and the instincts that gave birth to those values, belief in that God nevertheless did give meaning to life for a time. ‘God is dead’ means that the idea of God can no longer provide values. With the sole source of values no longer capable of providing those values, there is a real chance of nihilism prevailing.

Zarathustra presents the Übermensch as the creator of new values. In this way, it appears as a solution to the problem of the death of God and nihilism. If the Übermensch acts to create new values within the moral vacuum of nihilism, there is nothing that this creative act would not justify. Alternatively, in the absence of this creation, there are no grounds upon which to criticize or justify any action, including the particular values created and the means by which they are promulgated.

In order to avoid a relapse into Platonic idealism or asceticism, the creation of these new values cannot be motivated by the same instincts that gave birth to those tables of values. Instead, they must be motivated by a love of this world and of life. Whereas Nietzsche diagnosed the Christian value system as a reaction against life and hence destructive in a sense, the new values which the Übermensch will be responsible for will be life-affirming and creative. Passing Thought or Grand Scheme?

Whether or not this or that leading light of Post-Modern thought envisioned a future time in which the Great Minds would gain leadership of the whole world – for its own good – or not — one can’t read the Enlightened Minds of the 20th century without concluding:

They thought the overly-religious – but primarily Christians – worthy of contempt.

and

They thought a handful of superior minds Got It.

and

Such Enlightened Elites were sorrowfully — handcuffed by the great unwashed minds of the masses…

Hinduism/Philosophy + “Hard” Science

— I don’t have the research or have read anyone who did the research — but —- I bet if I could dig into the history of leaders in the Quantum Physics discipline — or at least have a look at the texts on their bookshelves — I’d find a good bit of New Age and other material connected to —- ancient thought within Hinduism…

Just look how often you’ll find terms related to — Consciousness
