“Compelled speech has come to Canada,” stated Peterson. “We will seriously regret this.”
“[Ideologues are] using unsuspecting and sometimes complicit members of the so-called transgender community to push their ideological vanguard forward,” said the professor to the Senate in May. “The very idea that calling someone a term that they didn’t choose causes them such irreparable harm that legal remedies should be sought [is] an indication of just how deeply the culture of victimization has sunk into our society.”
Peterson has previously pledged not to use irregular gender pronouns and students have protested him for his opposition to political correctness.
When I started thinking about Trump lacking enough support in Congress to fight off Impeachment if he manages to win, I started thinking about the early 1970s —- comparing it to today — and reading about that time.
It’s highly interesting.
I noted at this first post how there were secret plans and counter-plans behind the scenes to prevent Nixon from calling on the Military for support against the effort of part of the Elites to throw him out of office despite popular support (as viewed by his massive landslide victory in 72).
Today, I’ll quote from the book The New World Order: An Ancient Plan of Secret Societies. — Concerning the effort that went on for a decade after Nixon was forced to resign. An effort to get enough states to call for a Constitutional Convention to radically alter the document.
It is not mere coincidence that in 1975, less than one year after the resignation of President Nixon, the first six states passed resolutions calling for a Constitutional Convention. Four years later, thirty states had passed resolutions. But in the decade of the 1980s, only two more states joined in, while two others, Florida and Alabama, withdrew their calls after citizens became aroused.
James MacGregor Burns, a board member of the lead organization trying to bring about a Constitutional Convention, known as Committee on Constitutional Systems (CCS), made this shocking admission in urging his forces onward: Let us face reality. The framers [of the Constitution] have simply been too shrewd for us. They have outwitted us. They designed separate institutions that cannot be unified by mechanical linkages, frail bridges, [or] tinkering. If we are to turn the founders upside down we must directly confront the Constitutional structure they erected.
This new constitution proposed that: The government would be empowered to abridge freedom of ex-pression, communication, movement and assembly in a “declared emergency.” The practice of religion would be considered a “privilege.”
Religion would become a privilege, not a right…
A move to Impeach Trump within months of him winning an election would cause the biggest Constitutional Crisis since Nixon.
It would be bigger — because back then – the Press and the Government enjoyed a lot more esteem among average Americans than they do today. Today, both institutions rate in the single digits in approval polls…
I believe it is in this context that you should view moves like President Obama announcing Transgenders in the Military and giving them medical priority just before the 4th of July!!
Can Trump Survive Impeachment if he Wins?
When I realized Trump was unlikely to survive an Impeachment attempt, I started thinking about prior times a President has been hard pressed by a run at Impeachment.
Rahm Emanuel – Order to Chaos to New Order
Below, I’ll post a link to Mr. Emanuel explaining how (generating) a Crisis allows Power Players to push the nation much further than it would have been willing to go otherwise…
What a Coup can do for Us
What were the conditions in the early 70s when Nixon was run out of the White House and the society almost descended into Civil War:
I noticed with Nixon – He produced The Nixon Shock in 1971 by taking the $ off the Gold Standard.
– He was demonized by the Press, Academia, and Hollywood.
– He was so popular among the people, he won a massive landslide re-election victory in 1972.
– By Inauguration Day of March 73, his administration was in a constant fight to remain in office.
– By Aug 74, both the President and Vice President had been forced to resign, because they could not survive an Impeachment Process…
I’m in the first third of a book New World Order: An Ancient Plan of Secret Socities. It begins with what it calls an “Almost Coup” Nixon might have used to remain in power.
I took it a different way…
What about the Right-Wing Military?
I wondered why the man Nixon tapped in 73 to first head the CIA and then Defense Department — went around conspiring with some members of the Joint Chiefs of Staff — to have commanders prepared to rush their troops to DC if Nixon called on the Military to stay in office?
The very same Sec of Defense who was fired by President Ford later for refusing to follow orders more than once…
Secretary of Defense James Schlesinger had taken special measures to protect the military chain of command should any illegal orders come from President Nixon.
Defense Secretary James Schlesinger requested a tight watch in the military chain of command to ensure that no extraordinary orders went out from the White House during the period of uncertainty.
…Nevertheless, Defense Department officials said the word went out that no commanders of any forces should carry out orders which came from the White House, or elsewhere, outside the formal chain of command structure.
Defense Schlesinger investigated how quickly the Army’s 82nd Airborne Division could be brought to DC from Fort Bragg, North Carolina to counterbalance Marine contingents loyal to Nixon.
How could the Commander and Chief of the Armed Forces be breaking the law by going outside the chain of command?
Well, the obvious answer is — Secretary Schlesinger must have gone to members of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and ranking officers in the Armed Services —- to get assurances they would not follow any orders from Nixon Schlesinger disagreed with…
…Thus forcing the higher ranking President of the United States to break the chain of command to go around their obstruction – whether lawful or mutinous.
Cover All Your Basis in a Soft Coup
So — it seems to me — whoever wanted Nixon out — had key Social Institutions — The Press, Hollywood, Academia — erupt in a non-stop war against a person they’d long demonized.
Whatever members of Congress they did not have on board with Impeachment – the effort to turn X% of the millions of American who voted for Nixon against him —- would turn the pressure up on Congressmen who need votes to survive…
The US Government has been preparing for possible large scale unrest since at least the 2008 Economic Meltdown — because they say we were facing a 2nd Great Depression that would make the 1st look like child’s play…
I would be a pretty penny discussions have gone on about what to do if Trump becomes President…
…They have the numbers in Congress to get rid of him.
They’d have to worry about — Blowback from the people who voted for him — and — the Military.
So – if they keep the society on edge in a high boil between now and inauguration day, we’ll be exhausted and willing to accept anything to bring Tranquility back…
…Thanks Mr. Emanuel…
Meanwhile, President Obama has already been fragmenting the Military by replacing generals, making non-conventional picks for command positions, and announcing Transgenders gaining medical priority to transition their sex the same week of the 4th of July…
Most people understand – the US and other governments – and fascistic elements within Banana Republics – have used cover operatives to Polarize the masses in a nation with the hope of overthrowing the current regime in charge and replacing it with one they favor.
Guatemala is one example.
Well, we are watching that inside the United States – carried out by our own government and outside Power Players…
A black (mixed-race) man is elected President by the masses – twice.
Rice and Powell were put in charge of the NSA and State Department – two of the MOST POWERFUL jobs in the world – by a “racist” president.
Blacks and other minorities are found at the top level of professions across the nation —- but — we get — Micro-Aggressions.
Micro-Aggressions have been preached by all the key Social Institutions that influence the culture —- dominated by Left-ists. The Press, Academia, Hollywood, and the Government…
Pure and simple.
What benefit does a War on Poverty provide those same Institutions?
It never ends. —- There will ALWAYS be poor people. So, the Triggers needed to Agitate the society at any given time — will be there.
War on Cop Shootings?
— The ammunition will never run out. Not in a nation of 320 million people taking up a continent. — There will ALWAYS be questionable police shootings. Even rogue cop shootings —- every single year…
The press and government and academia and Professional Agitators will only have to wait weeks or a month tops for some Trigger involving the police and a black person to happen that they can cherrypick… to Agitate the society for whatever purpose they have in mind…
— Micro-Aggressions —- Black President for 8 years —- Micro-Aggressions — and BLM…
People —– This must be obvious to you by now….
We are a Banana Republic.
I don’t know how long we have been…
What you read below is about – demonstrating for all to see —- The Power of Shaming…
This is meant to send a message to everyone who witnesses it — If you dare cross what they deem Intellectually Acceptable —- You are — Fair Game…
In the fall of 2014, junior faculty member Cheryl Abbate told a student, who secretly recorded the exchange, that his defense of man-woman marriage was an unacceptable topic in her ethics class and compared his views to racism. She said, “You can have whatever opinions you want but I can tell you right now, in this class homophobic comments, racist comments, and sexist comments will not be tolerated.” And then she told the student he should drop the class.
On this very popular blog, Professor McAdams outed the incident and charged the teaching assistant with “using a tactic typical among liberals now. Opinions with which they disagree are not merely wrong, and are not to be argued against on their merits, but are deemed ‘offensive’ and need to be shut up.”
A firestorm ensued that pitted the academic freedom of McAdams against the leftist pieties of the officially “Catholic” institution.
The teaching assistant is said to have gotten mean emails, though she was hailed as a liberal hero and went on to a tenure track position at another university. McAdams was brought up on charges. (Breitbart Big Government)
Now that they control Academia — Tyranny is more Humanistic.
It was announced this week that a “diverse” faculty committee recommended to the university president that McAdams be suspended without pay from April 1 through the fall of 2016 and that he lose his job unless he admits “guilt” and apologized “within the next two weeks.”
Mao would have forced him to march around the university square to be Shamed by faculty, staff, and student body alike, whether they fired him or not…
In the People’s Republic of China, self-criticism, called ziwo pipan (自我批判) or jiǎntǎo (检讨) in Chinese, is an important part of Maoist practice.
Such sessions could be elaborate, public and frequent, and included denunciations. Under the Khmer Rouge, self-criticism sessions were known as rien sot, meaning “religious education“. In his memoir The Gate,François Bizot recalls observing the Khmer Rouge engaging in frequent self-criticism to reinforce group cohesion during his imprisonment in rural Cambodia in 1971. (Self-Criticism Sessions in Communist Tyranny)
Show Trials + Public Shaming + Forced Confessions among peers are —- a Hallmark of Dictatorially Regimes around the Earth throughout recorded History…
Welcome to North Korea…
“you [must] express deep regret for the harm suffered by our former graduate student and instructor, Ms. Abbate.”
The ever quotable and crusty McAdams compared the demand to the “Inquisition, in which victims who ‘confessed’ they had been consorting with Satan and spreading heresy would be spared execution.” He called the demand a violation of “black letter guarantees of academic freedom embodied in University statutes.” (Breitbart)
If you want to see this spelled out Intellectually:
Read Discipline/Punish by Michael Foucault.
In it, you will find that Progressivism seeks a return to the Feudalism of the Middle Ages in culture as well as Socialist, “Community-oriented” economic theory:
[In Early-Modern Western Culture] many of these non-corporal penalties were accompanied by additional penalties that involved a degree of torture…
Torture is a technique; it is not an extreme expression of lawless rage.
…It must mark the victim: it is intended, either by the scar it leaves on the body, or by the spectacle that accompanies it, to brand the victim with infamy;
even if its function is to ‘purge””’ the crime, torture does not reconcile;
it traces around or, rather, on the very body of the condemned man signs that must not be effaced;
PC-Culture has reached the Terminal Stage now that Progressivism has become the overwhelmingly dominant Ideology of the Entertainment, Academic, and News institutions in the United States and Western European-dominated Intellectualism.
Along with the power of the state to “Redistribute” Wealth — (read: “Control” who has it) — as was done under Feudalism prior to the rise of Democracy and Industrialization — the power of the State and Institutions to exercise Shaming via Public Displays of Humiliation — or loss of control over the individual’s emotional or physical heath – was far more intended to — influence witnesses of the personal carnage — than it was to punish the victim.
Welcome to the Dark Ages 2.0…
Onward and upward…
When the business interests, led by William C. Whitney, pushed through the first installment of civil service reform in 1883 [in order to knock out patronage donations for campaign financing], they expected that they would be able to control both political parties equally. Indeed, some of them intended to contribute to both and to allow an alternation of the two parties in public office in order to conceal their own influence, inhibit any exhibition of independence by politicians, and allow the electorate to believe that they were exercising their own free choice. (Tragedy and Hope by Carroll Quigley 1966)
The cost of running for public office has been one of the greatest avenues for corrupting Democracy since the early days of the nation…
